Roxette is one of Sweden's greatest music exports of all time. Formed in Halmstad in 1986 by Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson, the duo achieved global success with hits such as "The Look", "Listen to Your Heart", "It Must Have Been Love", "Joyride" and "Fading Like a Flower". With several US number-one singles and tens of millions of records sold, Roxette secured their place in pop history. Marie Fredriksson passed away in 2019, but the music and legacy live on through Per Gessle.
